Just time for a quick blog after the weekend at the Peebles Enduro World Series.
What an amazing weekend and event that was! I am on a bit of a come down after an amazing race and I am really happy with how I rode. I had a really good Saturday finishing 13th overall and beating some pretty big names. The trails were bloody hard- physically and technically. About 60Km and 1500m climbing on saturday with a bit less distance but more climbing and more physical stages on the Sunday.
I had a small crash and went too steady on the Sunday so I dropped to 23rd for the weekend but I am really happy with how it turned out. I had no expectations for the weekend as I had no luck last year at the EWS so never really got a good stab at it. It is good to know I have the speed for top 15 times on stages, I just need to work on a few things and I hope to challenge for some better results.
I rode my Tallboy LTc which worked out awesome, it is such a fast bike and rolled really good on the hard pedalling, fast sections.
Now its time for a couple of weeks off on honeymoon then straight into the British Enduro at Afan.
